Annotation

The article discusses strategies and competencies that implement the code of needs "Teaching foreign languages". The linguodidactic aspects of the formation of this code are analyzed, taking into account the national-cultural component of the foreign language being studied. The strategies and methodological directions, advisable to be considered for an effective teaching of a new foreign language, are proposed. Communication needs are actualized in the ability to fully participate in the communicative process, which implies its participants’ certain level of competence. Mastering communicative competencies is impossible without a step-by-step study of all language aspects and a large amount of practical communicative interaction.
