Annotation
The methodological basis for the construction of indicators of the main directions of socio-economic development that determine the quality of life is formed and tested. The novelty of the results is determined by the fact that the indicators are based on a common basis, the components of which are the characteristics of differentiation, formed by theoretically based models of regional development. In this basis, based on the data of Rosstat, indicators of the directions "production of goods and services, volumes", "production of goods and services per capita" and "material well-being"are built. Each of them is maximally correlated with the indicator formed on the basis of the corresponding group of indicators. It is shown that for these directions the basis provides higher consistency of indexes and ranks of regions than the first main components. The formation of a system of indicators of the main directions of socio-economic development that determine the quality of life, built on the basis of objective data and the results of surveys of the population. The basis allowing specification of component structure is considered as an information basis for construction of the integral indicator of quality of life.
