The article is devoted to an analysis of ontological properties of socio-historical reality. In course of this, question of communication and interaction of the events in history is considered, the hypothesis stated by M. Heidegger about an ontological primacy of event is discussed, also is considered the possible role of the Nothingness and time in a history buildup as a whole. In the article also is considered a possible spectrum of ontological manifestations of event of historical scale, and are discussed the influence of a way of representation of reality of the past on understanding of relations of historical knowledge and its object.
