The article discusses the results of a survey of Russian industrial enterprises on internal and external non-tariff barriers to exports. The article shows that internal barriers (complex logistics of export deliveries, obtaining permits, customs clearance, and weak state support) are of great importance for domestic enterprises. The main external barriers include quasi-barriers, high competition and lack of information about external markets, as well as technical barriers, administrative restrictions, imperfect financial regulation and competition restrictions.
