The article examines the current problems of the EAEU’s development and proposes directions for its further evolution, the vector of which is dictated by the internal logic of the development of Eurasian integration. Simultaneously, external circumstances as well, associated with the formation of a new world order, require appropriate changes in the development strategy of the Union. Today, speaking of a full-fledged Union, which is based on the common national interests and on the values of the participating countries, one should strive to involve issues of security, identity, and a higher quality of economic and information policy in the integration orbit. The given stage may consist in expanding and in deepening of the Eurasian integration spectrum, and it may be associated with appropriate institutional changes.
