DAHI OF CENTRAL ASIA IN THE ERA OF ALEXANDER MACEDONIAN: DATA OF NARRATIVE TRADITION
Annotation
This article looks at the localization of the Central Asian Dahae during the period of Alexander the Great. Based on the analysis of written sources, the author concludes that during this period the Dahae in Sogdiana occupied the Zarafshan river valley between Samarkhand and Bukhara, and the area along the left bank of the Amu-Darya river in Chorasmia.
