Annotation
October 4, 2018 marked the 50th anniversary of the death of Sergey Ivanovich Radzig (1882–1968), an outstanding Russian classical philologist. The article is devoted to the 12-year period when the Moscow classicist worked in the Yaroslavl State University. The author pays attention to teaching and publishing activities of the scholar during the first years of the Soviet era.
