The article analyzes the mechanisms of adaptation of the labor market to structural changes in the economy related to the preservation of excess labor, thereaction of the educational services market, the payment of labor and its transition to new areas of the economy, and institutional changes. Adaptationof the labor market to structural changes in the economy leads to the reduction of inefficient jobs; to socially responsible restructuring (including advanced retraining and modern methods of personnel work); to the harmonization of the educational services market and the labor market; to the promotion of productive and quality labor by increasing the institutional flexibility of the labor market.
