Issues in the dispute and their classification
Annotation

Asking questions is one of the most powerful – and often misused – tools for professionals in dispute resolution settings. This paper provides a multifaceted classification of questions in disputes. Defining the types of questions allows participants to influence the temp of discussions, get necessary information and win the audience perfectly. When you are dealing with high-conflict clients, it is especially important to consider the timing of different types of questions and also to know what questions you should never ask.
