Conflict of human self-references
Annotation

The article is dedicated to the analysis of the concept of self-reference in the discourse of radical constructivism. Self-reference is understood as a fundamental characteristic of the process of cognition. The article shows how self-reference leads to paradoxes in the explanation of knowledge. The author identifies two opposing internal aspects of self-reference: disctinction and reiteration. At the same time, it is shown that both these aspects can be reduced to a tautology. Based on the material of the discourses of radical constructivism and second-order cybernetics, the author proposes an understanding of these aspects that allows us to overcome the paradox of second-order statements. Based on the obtained results of the analysis, the author suggests a different view of the problem of self-knowledge. It is demonstrated that understanding the distinction and reiteration in self-reference as a tautology opens up opportunities for solving the problem of self-knowledge.
