This edition completes the serial publication of the discharge books, which began in 1966 and lasted for almost 30 years thanks to the enthusiasm and efforts of V. I. Buganov and his constant assistant and comrade-in-arms in this endeavor L. F. Kuzmina. The published discharge book of 1475-1605 belongs to the type of the so-called "service books" or discharge books with the most ancient records. This is the most detailed type of discharge books, the most important historical source on the history of Russia in the last quarter of the 15th - early 17th centuries, their extensive edition. In 1994, the first part of the last, fourth volume of the discharge book of 1475-1606 was published. The published manuscript is the final part of the entire edition. It continues the text of the first part of volume IV - from September 19, 1602 to June 1605. The appendix to the final volume contains the end of the Khovansky list, pp. 708-715 rev. It includes brief records of categories for the years 7114, 7115, 7116, 7117, 7118, 7121, 7122, 7123, 7124.
