Annotation

The article focuses on the new methods of cataloguing of the manuscript and blockprint fragments kept in the Serindia Collection of the IOM, RAS, that had been introduced in 2019. The Serindica Laboratory, that was created at the end of 2018 as the subdivision of the Department of Manuscripts and Documents of the IOM, RAS, is engaged in conservation, cataloguing and digitization of the Sanskrit, Old Uyghur, Tibetan and Tocharian manuscript fragments. Its main aim was to take the studies of the Serindia Collection to a whole new level. The article presents a detailed manuscript and blockprint fragments description scheme, that was specially developed for a data base, used nowadays for the Collection cataloguing.
