In 2018 in the framework of its chairmanship in the EAEU, Russia has continued the implementation of the main objectives of the Eurasian integration (the single market of goods and services, the implementation of a unified industrial policy, import substitution, etc.). Russia also started the implementation of new initiatives, including the support of the sectors previously little involved in integration projects (such as nuclear energy, renewable energy, medicine, space, etc.). The Russian state paid special attention to the deepening of international and cross-border coopera-tion, closer cooperation at the regional level, as well as the cooperation in the social and humanitar-ian sphere. The paper analyzes the main results of the Russian Federation as the Chairman of the EAEU and assesses the directions of its development in 2019.
