Annotation

The subject of the research is Proletkult, the history and place of this movement in the Soviet culture of the 20th century. The article considers the ideas of one of the founders of Proletkult, Alexander Bogdanov.

 The main provisions of the concept of proletarian culture put forward by Bogdanov are analyzed, its distinctive features are described. Particular attention is paid to the role of culture in social transformation and the formation of a new society. The article allows a deeper understanding of the historical context of the emergence of proletarian culture and its significance for the development of socialist and communist ideology. The article also attempts to understand the meaning of culture and the purpose of the creator in the cultural construction of the new world. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the study of the concept of Proletcult in a broad sense, that is, understanding it not only as a phenomenon in the context of contemporary art, but perceiving it as a component of human culture, including, among other things, the culture of production, the culture of thinking and even the culture of human relations. This is possible when studying the works of Bogdanov, devoted to the development of human relations in the transition from one social formation to another, a newer stage in the development of society. It is shown that the deepest understanding of the new culture (and not just art) is present in the works of Bogdanov, and not in the manifestos of the creators of contemporary art.
