Anthropological meanings of nihilism - from model I.S. Turgenev to the "real nihilists" Alexander Bogdanov and Pavel Florensky
Annotation
In this article, nihilism is viewed from two conceptually disproportionate positions: as a negative frame of mind, correlated with European history, and as an essential factor involved in the emergence of a special anthropological type, called the “real nihilist” in the work. The latter, in principle, does not reduce to the phenomenon of negativism, it carries complex existential meanings, including positive ones. His first abstract model was created by I.S. Turgenev in the form of Bazarov. Based on the analysis of the heuristic potential of this model, its artistic fate and historical and philosophical significance, it is proposed to reconstruct the genesis of existential conflicts and the axiological structure of the anthropological and social projection of embodied “real nihilists” - А.А. Bogdanov and P.A. Florensky. The authors focus on the focus of projective research data thinkers around the metaphysical core of European civilization - an emancipated individuality. This feature is not harmless in its philosophical and humanistic explications and not accidental for the type of "real nihilist." Based on these and other assumptions, the authors conclude that the “real nihilist”, embodied in the era of catastrophes, paradoxically comes into inevitable conflict with nihilism as a frame of mind and nihilism as the will to power by any means. The ascetic ministry of the “real nihilist” to truth is given both by the possibility of an ambivalent attitude towards humanism, and the fatal inevitability of his death.
