Annotation
The article deals with a relatively little-known but significant aspect of the work of the Russian and Soviet thinker Alexander Bogdanov - his science fiction novels. It is noted that in the form of a utopian novel, Bogdanov expounded his vision of the society of the future, which embodied not only the ideas of Marxism, but also the original concepts of Bogdanov - god-building and proletcult. In addition, a brief overview of the history of the utopia genre in Russian literature is given; It is analyzed in the context of the relationship between the understanding of the maxims of “justice” and “order” in various works of this genre, including the works of A. Bogdanov. It is concluded that the fantastic prose of Bogdanov occupies a special place in the literary and scientific context of the era of the early twentieth century, combining the features of a classic utopia and an innovative science fiction novel.
