As part of the scientific and educational lecture project of GAUGN “Time to Think”, a public lecture was held by Doctor of Philosophy Vladilen Burov, on the topic «China: the third way». In his speech, Professor Burov analyzed the current state of the political culture of China, the ambitious economic projects of this state, and also drew attention to a number of problems that the Chinese society and government currently face. In particular, Professor Burov noted the experience of «Chinaization» of Marxism in combination with the traditional concept of Confucianism and the current development of China’s “soft power” strategy on a regional and even global scale. «Полилог/Polylogos» publishes the text of the lecture and the subsequent discussion with minor abbreviations.
