Annotation
The article analyzes the forms of social self-organization and social communications in the first half of the XIX century. The data of the form of social communication are shown on the example of the life and work of the prominent representative of the Russian society of that time, Prince Vyazemsky (1792-1878). Demonstrates the role of Vyazemsky in Russian society and the culture of pre-reform Russia. In the analysis, special attention is paid to the surviving Vyazemsky archive, which contains numerous correspondence with contemporaries - Pushkin, Zhukovsky, Dmitriev, etc., notebooks, memoir memories. All this is the most valuable material for the reconstruction of public self-organization and various forms of social dialogue of pre-reform Russi, and above all, local communities in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
