The Article is devoted to the biography and works of the forgotten figure of the Comintern Louis Fraina. Three periods of his life so differ from each other, that they can be called “three lives”. In the first he fanatically fought for the American and World revolution, in the second became the respectable Marxist theorist (Corey), and in the third he moved to the camp of liberals and ardent anti-Communists, in a bizarre way falling under the axe of McCarthyism in the early 1950s. These were the vicissitudes of the fate of one of the founders of the Communist party of America, delegate to the 2th Congress of Comintern Louis Fraina.
