The article explores Russian philosophy of the 18th century, the century of “discipleship”. The main feature of this period was the process of secularization of Russian spiritual culture, which finds its most vivid manifestation at this stage of Russia's historical development. Another feature of this period is the emergence of university, academic philosophy in Russia and the emergence of secular philosophical education.
