Annotation
The article under the title “General Election in Britain in 1935 and British Communists” was written by A. Prokopov, who used mainly archival data. The author analyzes the electoral campaign (1935) of the Communist Party of Great Britain. He presented the main electoral propositions of the communists; examined their attitude towards the Labour Party; shoed the peculiarity of cooperation between communists and representatives of the Labour Party in different regions of the country; revealed the reasons why the Communist Party nominated only two candidates during this elections.
