The article is devoted to the views of M. A. Bakunin in place of secret societies and revolutionary conspiracy in history. Denying these phenomena are, in principle, Bakunin in his programmatic work has focused on this issue exclusive attention. He admitted conspiracy as a system of clandestine activities aimed at training and assistance to the people's revolution. Bakunin developed a plan for the creation of a secret revolutionary society with a rigid structure, discipline, hierarchy, the presence of the powerful center. This was reflected in his projects of post-revolutionary society devices.
