Annotation
Among numerous traditional exempla (short moralistic anecdotes) of the Malleus Maleficaum there is one specific kind — experientia, a representation of Heinrich Institoris’s personal experience in witch-hunting. This type of narrative let the authors of treatise argue the most important concepts such as different kinds of intercourse between witches and demons and their magical activities. To understand this pattern we need to trace a narrative of a young woman from city of Breisach, which has been divided into four parts and put in different chapters of The Hammer of Witches and to combine it again into complete story, illustrating the key points of witchcraft theory.
