Early modern times as the secular cycle
Annotation
Neo-Malthusian concept argues that early modern times was the secular (or «demographic») cycle. This secular cycle began after the demographic disaster - epidemic, "Black Death" in the middle of the 14th century. Population growth has led to a drop in consumption and the new demographic catastrophe in the 17th century.
