The decade of 1960 mark the dawn of the coming to the power of the authoritarian military regimes in many countries of the continent. The new character of these regimes provoked many discussions among the left social scientists and politicians. The majority of the left radicals of Latin America characterized these regimes as a fascist. The article presents the critical review of the conception of the fascism in Latin America elaborated by the left radicals in 1960–1980s.
