Промежуточные выборы 2018 в США сквозь призму президентской гонки 2020: гендерный фактор
Аннотация

Роль женщин в современной американской политике трудно переоценить: женщины вносят новые элементы в политическую культуру; их активное участие – объективный элемент политической системы; обе правящие партии осознают и принимают во внимание гендерный фактор. Однако гендерное равенство, созданное в обществе благодаря государственной политике достижения гендерного баланса, расширению и укреплению экономических возможностей женщин, активному женскому демократическому организованному движению, требует дальнейших немалых усилий по преодолению назревших или нерешённых проблем дискриминационного свойства, что нашло отражение в требованиях женского электората на выборах 2018 года, рассматриваемых как предвестник избирательной гонки 2020.
