In 2022, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous lawyer, specialist in the field of correctional labor law, Honored Scientist of the RSFSR, Professor Nikolai A. Struchkov was celebrated. According to popular and well-established opinion, his name is associated with the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in which he served for quite a long time. However, archival information suggests that Nikolai Struchkov made a well-known contribution to the development of science at the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2023.
