RESTRUCTURING PUBLIC NETWORKS INSTITUTIONS: THE EXPERIENCE OF THE CHUVASH REPUBLIC
Annotation
The results of a comprehensive project to restructure the networks of educational institutions in the Chuvash Republic are considered. Special attention is paid to assessing the availability of quality education regardless of the place of residence, and the models that have been introduced in the Republic, such as basic "cluster" schools, socio-cultural complexes, resource centers, etc., are analyzed. In particular, the article notes that school buses in rural areas play a much greater role today than before: rural schoolchildren have become more active in national Olympiads and competitions, sports competitions. School bus extended "circle of friends" children were made possible trips to exhibitions, performances, concerts, excursions, etc. Estimates of academic success of rural school students in comparison with urban students based on the results of the unified state exam are given, as well as data from sociological surveys conducted by the Yu Center.
