Annotation

2020 marks thirty years since the last historic session of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance, an economic integration association of the countries of the socialist bloc. Despite its liquidation, the integration experience accumulated by the CMEA was subsequently used by such an association as the European Union. This article examines how such experience is applicable to Eurasian integration.
