Article based on benchmarking study of USA policy in Iraq at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries of British colonialism in the area of Persian Gulf late in XIX - source XX century. Indicated similarity in substantiation of conducted policy, roles in defi nition of Chief Magistrate, attitude to territorial integrity and borders in region, behavior in oil questions. Article also consider economical point of USA policy in Iraq, to whom advisably making of this policy and what made this forming possible. Beside this, article points out on various mistakes of USA administration in Iraq.
