Space Policy of the USA: a Claim for Domination
Annotation

The article basically examines the contemporary space policy of the USA, analysing doctrines adopted by the administration of Donald Trump. The special emphasis is given to the space sphere and respective specific military-political decisions mainly stamped in 2018, as well as the perspectives for setting up of a new independent branch of the U.S. Armed Forces – that is the U.S. Space Forces. Traditionally, at the end of the research paper the present policy of the Russian Federation dealt with the use of outer space domain is narrated where the formidable differences in space policy between Moscow and Washington have been described.
