Annotation

This review is on the book of Yu. A. Tikhomirov, "Legal Prognostication". The strengths of the work, the methodological achievements of the author, theoretical and practical importance of legal forecasting, prospects of further scientific work in this domain are shown. At the same time, there are investigated the controversial provisions of the book and offered solutions to the problems posed in the book, which are different from those suggested by the author of the book under review. In particular, special attention is paid to the consideration of criteria, parameters and indicators in the assessment of human rights and a possibility of their use in the field of legal forecasting.
