Annotation

The relevance of studying the legal criteria for ensuring the consistency of scientific research in the field of jurisprudence is due to the problematic tendency to reduce their quality. The functional potential of law regarding the solution of this problem is used today insufficiently. Use it more effectively allows legal criteria to ensure the consistency of scientific research in the field of jurisprudence - formalized in appropriate legal norms tools for targeting potential authors in their research activities and assessing the results of such work by reviewers. The present paper recognizes the need to counter plagiarism. However, the existing practice of using the text originality criterion. The author proposes two criteria for ensuring the consistency of scientific research in the field of jurisprudence: the criterion of the presence/absence of a formulated scientific legal problem and the criterion of methodological validity/groundlessness of scientific legal research.
