Digital state as a conceptual foundation of the global world order
Digital state as a conceptual foundation of the global world order
Annotation

Analysis of correlation between the concepts of state in Russian and in English allows to con-clude that these categories are similar, but not the same. State represents a normative order of an organized society and its management, based on different technological constructions (e.g. voluntarism, law, digital codes). The article critically overlooks a typology of state suggested by traditional theory of formations and offers another universal construction as an alternative. The Internet is placed in the context of political and legal system of a modern state. A hypothesis of digital state is proposed to explain it as a form of a future world order.
