The article analyzes the administrative activity of employees of the Razryadny prikas in respect of requests, that were submitted to the prikaz of the subordinate categories of people — the noblemen. The petitions, which were recorded in one of the documents of the current office of Razryad — so called notebooks of “all cases”, were studied. As a result of the study, it was concluded, that the purpose of entering documents of this kind in the notebooks was to record the decisions of the authorities in the relevant cases as precedents for further use in the legal practice of the prikaznaya system.
