Annotation
The lecture is devoted to the everyday notions about the history of the members of British Parliament. The author demonstrates the role of historical examples in parliamentary debates.Especially significant is the treatment by the members of parliament of the historical experience of England (in particular, the events of the 17th century.) at the period of acute conflict between Britain and its American colonies.
