Annotation
The lecture is devoted to the political views of literarypolitical association “Young America”. Representatives of this movement emphasized global importance of the American Revolution to the spread of ideals of freedom and democracy around the world. “Young Americans” felt themselves as a part of transAtlantic community. The author reveals the ideas and images related to “young Americans” perception of the American Revolution and the revolutionary movement in the Old World.
